Allyson Felix
Allyson Michel Felix was born on November 18th, 1985. Her birthplace was Los Angeles. Her father Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley as well as Her mother Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix's athletic talent was evident from the moment she began her studies at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Only 10 weeks after her first trial, she was with a second-place finish in the 200 meters in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. In 2003 Felix completed her high school graduation by signing a contract as a professional athlete with the company that makes sports Adidas before enrolling at the University of Southern California where she studied elementary school. Felix won her first Olympic Medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics that took place in Athens Greece. Felix set the Junior World Record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 second. She was the youngest world champion in the 200m at the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007, beating the long-time Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top 3 throughout her events in the Olympics which took place during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
